About Uber gift cards

Check the intended journey before buying credit

Uber gift cards are added to an Uber account rather than used as a general-purpose transport payment card. The official rider FAQ says an account is required and that redeemed balance cannot be transferred to another account. Confirm which rider will use the value before applying a code. A gift intended for an airport journey, a family profile or travel abroad needs a closer program check than simply matching the amount with an estimated fare. The selected card's market matters as much as the travel budget.
