Apple card types are not interchangeable
An Apple Gift Card, an older App Store & iTunes card and an Apple Store card can have different uses. The Apple Store card is intended for eligible hardware purchases, while App Store & iTunes credit is used for eligible digital purchases. Availability and permitted uses vary by country. Read the exact card type and supported account region on the listing instead of assuming every Apple-branded card works the same way.
Google Play country checks
Google Play gift cards are tied to their purchase country and currency. Google also applies account-country and location conditions when redeeming credit. A card labeled with a currency is not automatically suitable for everyone who can hold that currency. Check the recipient’s Google Play country and the restrictions shown by Google before purchasing.
Check the purchase you want to make
Store balance is not a general payment card. The app, subscription or content item must accept that balance in the relevant store and country. Existing subscriptions, family-payment settings and account balance limits can affect what is possible.
