About Apple gift cards

Identify the card before deciding where to spend it

Apple documents several card families. The unified Apple Gift Card has a colorful Apple logo, while App Store and iTunes cards and older Apple Store cards have different designs and permitted uses. Design alone remains an imperfect identifier because artwork and denominations vary. Read the written card type and issuing country alongside the image. The word Store can change the intended redemption channel, so a listing described simply as an Apple code needs more detail before it can answer a hardware or digital-content purchase question.
